Recommendation from the B4D Forum: Il Basilico is an Italian restaurant that started operating out of Quituart in 2014. And in August 2021 they opened another location in 506, Asa Sul. Il Basilico in Asa Sul is part of Infinu, a coop of several restaurants and bars, where you find different cuisines from Brazil and around the world. The owner of Il Basilico, Gustavo Blasetti, was born and grew up in Italy and he makes sure that all the dishes have an authentic Italian taste. Il Basilico is famous for their pastas, especially the carbonara, and their steak tartar with walnuts, capers and truffle oil. If you are looking for pizza, well they don’t have it on the menu at all, but there is a pizzeria just around the corner. And on weekends you will have the chance to listen to some live bands as well. The quality of the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Arguably one of the best Italian eateries in Brasilia.
