Rising high above the northern edge of Brasília, the Torre Digital Flor do Cerrado offers one of the city's most spectacular panoramic views. A Brief History
The Torre Digital is one of Brasília's newest architectural landmarks. Designed by the world-famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, it was his final major project for the capital before his death in 2012. 

Construction began in 2010, although the project faced several delays before finally opening in 2012.Standing approximately 182 metres tall, the tower serves a practical purpose as well as an architectural one. It was built to improve digital television and radio broadcasting throughout the Federal District, replacing numerous smaller transmission towers with one central broadcasting hub.

Its official name, Flor do Cerrado ("Flower of the Cerrado"), reflects its striking design. Near the top of the tower are two large glass observation pods that resemble the petals of a flower opening towards the sky, a tribute to the native vegetation of Brazil's central plateau.

The Experience
The highlight of any visit is undoubtedly the 360° Observation Deck (Mirante 360°).Modern elevators transport visitors to the enclosed viewing platform, where floor-to-ceiling windows provide uninterrupted views in every direction.
