Every now and then you stumble across a place that makes you wonder how you managed to live in Brasília without knowing about it. For me, this shop was one of those discoveries.
If you've ever spent days searching for a specific ingredient that simply doesn't seem to exist in Brasília, chances are you'll find it here. The shelves are packed with products that are often difficult to find elsewhere in the city, making it a favorite among expats, home cooks, and anyone who enjoys experimenting in the kitchen.
The selection includes imported cheeses, authentic German dark breads, French cheeses, salamis and cured meats, curry pastes and powders, a huge variety of spices, international sweets, marmalades, mustards from around the world, and an impressive range of Asian ingredients. It is the kind of place where you walk in looking for one item and end up leaving with a basket full of things you didn't know you needed.
There is also a good selection of imported beverages and specialty products that are rarely seen in regular supermarkets.
What I appreciate most is that the shop doesn't feel like a luxury gourmet boutique. Despite carrying many imported products, the prices are often more reasonable than you might expect, especially considering how difficult some of these items are to find in Brasília.
It may not be conveniently located for everyone, and depending on where you live it could require a bit of a drive. But for anyone who enjoys cooking, international cuisine, or simply discovering unusual ingredients, the trip is well worth the effort.
For food lovers living in Brasília, this is one of those places that quickly becomes part of the regular shopping routine.

Speaking fluent Portuguese and English, your children will be in safe hands and also receive the benefits of improving their language abilities.

I came here to write a post about Billy and I see there already is one! So I'll just add my experience. When I was brand-new to Brasilia I did a group tour of Brasilia. This is a really great tour - you'll learn not only the layout of the city and the history of why it's been done that way, but also get to see all the big monuments and best architecture. I would really recommend this tour if you have family or friends visiting. You'll learn so much about the city, and your guests will feel like they actually know the city.

Moving is often a stressful and daunting task, but AAA Moving & Relocations LLC made it a breeze!
The team was fantastic - they were professional, efficient, friendly and patient! They took great care in packing and securing all of my belongings, and even went above and beyond to collect a few items that I had forgotten.
Paulo Woolny, the owner of the company, was also incredibly helpful throughout the process. He provided transparent and accurate quotes upfront, so there were no surprises when it came to the cost of my move. He also kept me informed every step of the way, which really put my mind at ease. He is always willing to please you if he can and if something is under his control.
When my removal reached Italy, their Italian counterparts were just as efficient and careful. All my belongings arrived in time and in perfect condition, which was great.

If you want a day trip outside the city, Billy does really great tours to Cristalina, Pirenopolis, etc. I went on a Cristalina small group tour with him and it was really fun. My son is still talking about it two years later.

One of the best Açaís I've ever tried!
Super affordable, with generous portions. My favorite is the one mixed with cupuaçu sorbet 😍
